SASO has changed the conformity assessment for Cord Extension Sets, Plugs and Sockets from G-Marking to SALEEM type 5 conformity assessment, meaning that such products shall obtain the Saudi Quality Mark as of the following expected dates:

•          August 6th 2020 for Cord Extension sets, and

•          February 6th 2021 for Plugs and Socket outlets
