PVoC Uganda – Penalty on arrival


As previously announced, The PVoC (The Pre-Export Verification of Conformity) program is implanted from the 1st of June 2013 and UNBS (the Uganda National Bureau of Standards) informs that goods arriving at the border without the required certificate of conformity (CoC) will be subject to a penalty of 15% of the CIF value, plus the possibility of clearance delays due to the additional administrative procedures.
